Hi.You can call me Mayumi! This is my blog where I will post pretty pictures of absolutely anything relating to Japan, but I will throw in some blogs, which, yes, shall educate you!
Some music, videos, and almost anything else I can think of.
Also, although it's hard to find anything not adorable in Japan.. be warned that I plan on doing some blog posts on some spooky myths and legends of Japan :)

“Japanese toy giant Bandai is set to release a series of nifty kanji figures that transform into the shapes of the animals they represent. The shape-shifting critters, called Mojibakeru (moji means “character” and bakeru means “to change”), come in six varieties — 犬 (dog), 虎 (tiger), 魚 (fish), 馬 (horse), 鳥 (bird) and 竜 (dragon) — and are available in black, white, yellow and blue.
“Floating point,” the latest Tokyo time-lapse video by photographer Samuel Cockedey, features views of Rainbow Bridge, Shinagawa station, Ikebukuro, Ochanomizu, and Tsukishima.
Although the other time lapse video on my tumblr may be a bit more “pretty” This industrial look on things is still a beautiful sight to see, and it is very much worth looking at!
This time-lapse video of Japan — shot by Brad Kremer in the summer of 2009 — features impressive footage of Tokyo, Matsuyama, Imabari, Nagano, Gifu, and Mt. Ishizuchi. Truly a beautiful look at Japan, it is definitely worth your time.
